Pictures with Faces or Spirit Pics

I just received an email from Amanda here it is

Message: i have gotten some pretty strange pictures two of orbs there is faces in them .another one i took a pic of a abe lincon statue and the second was of the same statue but in it you can see a skullone of my pics is of my aunt holding a chimpmonk in it u can also see a face .i dont know why im getin all these pics . kinda scares me. do you have any idea what this could be or mean. thanks amanda

I'm not sure what Amanda is describing when she writes: "you can see a skullone of my pics is of my aunt holding a chimpmonk in it u can also see a face" so I will write more general comments and then hope she contacts again with images.

If the camera is using film, then there are a variety of possibilities that are physical in nature. Such as an image from another picture bleeding through. This could be caused by the film itself (being in the camera too long, exposed to heat, etc) or a mistake on the part of the people who are developing the film.

If the camera is digital, the main question would be whether the ghostly image appears on the camera viewer as well as when loaded on the computer (which would answer the question of whether the image was distorted during transfer).

Orbs are most often the result of light or flash reflecting off of the surface of dust or an insect. If the images are in motion, the movement of the air (in curtains or leaves) would help determine the cause. If they are still images then I would look at the quality of light in the image to see what the likelihood is of a reflection (such as if the statue was metal or polished stone reflecting the flash light or the sun) or environmental (such as a bug).

If there are definitive faces in them, however, the cause would more likely be paranormal. The questions then are whether she recognizes the faces, if they were taken at the same location and have similar faces, etc.

The other question I have for Amanda is what about it scares her. She is intrigued by the events and sounds from the message as if these have happened to her before.
